Whoa what?! That's strange, so apparently if you get your balloons popped in Yoshi's Touch & Go DS, Kamek has an easier time catching you than if you were floating down with your balloons? I don't get it, but its just a game.
I have tried to see what happens if you get your balloons popped at the very bottom of the stage as I could, to see if Yoshi was there waiting for me...turns out, no, Kamek takes you away anyway.
I am still boggled as to how Baby Mario knows who's friend or foe in this game, he cries insanely if he's picked up by Kamek, lol. I guess he's that special kind of baby we can't figure out.

"Huh, Is that a Bad Ending?" As Yoshi said, very confused about Kamek kidnapping Mario.
"Damn you Kamek!", With Exactly One last Egg left, Yoshi took Aim, then Threw...
and Killed Kamek with its Egg Shrapnels "The Dinosaur Land is Now OURS! None is Mightier than Yoshi and this Fragile Egg Ammo!" Said Yoshi, knocking Mario off the Broom.
And So, This Concludes the Story of Yoshi's Island.
"Cheer Up! At least You didn't get Egged down!", Said Yoshi as he Upheld his Egg Ammo and Laughed his Most Jurassic Laugh "And Now, a New Dino-Law! No more Kameks flying on Their Brooms! FORBIDDEN!! Out with the Mighty Kameks! From Now on, I'm the One, THE ONLY YOSHI!" As the Rule of Dinosaur Land will be Mostly, Dangerously Jurassic furthermore.
